"God forbid that I should go to any heaven where there are no horses" ~ R.B. Cunningham-Graham

After spending my teenage years roaming around the countryside on horseback, I am now dedicating my adult life to working hard for horses.

I am experienced with all types of equines, including: riding school horses/ponies, competition horses, young horses, ex-race horses, foals and the every day riding horse/pony.  I've spent several years studying for and completing BHS exams, certificates in Health and Nutrition from Warwickshire College and a Diploma in Practical Equine Behaviour Therapy from The College for Natural Equine Sciences.  I am now spending two years studying Shiatsu at the Equine Shiatsu & Horsecare Academy.   I also have a keen interest in welfare issues and am a volunteer Welfare Officer for the British Horse Society.

My role as Equine Behaviour Therapy Practitioner can help with many things, including:

  • Loading / travelling problems
  • Rearing (ridden or on the ground)
  • Bucking
  • Barging
  • Biting / Kicking
  • Aggression
  • Napping
  • Saddling
  • Bridling
  • Catching
  • Spooking
  • General ground handling, particulary for the first time horse owner, the unconfident rider/handler, children and their ponies and even for the parents that have just bought their child's first pony.

Working closely with you it is important to isolate the reasons behind the unwanted/negative behaviour and then put in place a tailor made programme to resolve these behavioural issues.  No problem is too big or too small.
